Still enjoying the outdoors.

Even though school has begun and our evenings are much shorter now, the girls still thoroughly enjoy playing outside. Mom loves bath time because the girls are playing so hard they leave dirt rings in the tub!

Birthday Fun

Last Tuesday we got to help Aunt Heidi celebrate her birthday. Lauren and Emma love the candles and the frosting. It was a great warm-up for Emma!

Lauren turned her kitchen set into a house for her Polly Pockets. (Quite a mansion for them!)
Emma has really taken to writing. Lately, she's been using her right hand more than her left. I love how focused she is in this picture.

A Beautiful weekend for camping!

We finally experienced perfect weather for camping! Over one of the last weekends in July we went to Lake Vermillion with Brandon, Kim, Joey, Taylor, and Kara. We had a great time!Joey, Emma, Taylor, Kara, and Lauren posing in front of Lake Vermillion before attempting some fishing.

EMMA IS A WALKER, though we have no photographic evidence as she will dive for the floor whenever we get the camera out. She can stand up from sitting without pulling herself up on anything. She has been up to 3 to 4 steps in a row.

4th of July

To celebrate the 4th of July, we headed up to Lake Byron to camp at Jared's parents cabin. Lauren & Emma loved the beach and the lake!Wearing their patriotic outfits - "Little Miss Sparkles"
