Big Night at our house!

Tonight started off interesting as we got a call from the neighbor at 1:30 that the ice storm had knocked the power out. We still did not have power at 5:00, so we got out the flash lights, candles, extension cords, and the generator. We then opted to go to town to kill time and have supper and then head to our favorite retail destination, (as Lauren says...) "Always Walmart" to pick up a few supplies. Luckly, by the time we got home at 7:30, we had lights and more importantly heat!

The night did get better too, as Emma was getting ready for her bath, she sat on the little potty as she had the last few nights, but tonight she went potty like a big girl!!! I am not sure if she was as excited as we were though.

After her bath and big potty experience, she opted to veg out, relax and watch a little "Dowah" (Dora) before bed.

Snow Days!!

The girls have gotten to spend the last 2 days at home from school and Shelly's house because school was called off for a blizzard. We got 4-6 inches of snow, have had wind gusts up to 40 mph, and wind chills near -40 Degrees. The girls have stayed warm inside and have especially enjoyed passing the time by wearing fun outfits and changing them often. Daddy was sad, because he had to work the whole time :(

Happy Birthday Stacey!!!

Today is Stacey's 31st Birthday!

We celebrated by waking up to warm cinnamon rolls. For supper we went to Pizza Hut and then picked up a Culver's Frozen Custard Cake.
